I took all possible opportunities to photograph people going about their everyday life in Marrakech. This mean't casual shooting when walking by and observing moments from looking out of the bus window and taking the chance to capture before the bus jolted off. Aiming to be discrete, was important, as for some Moroccons, their cultural belief is if photographed, you have ‘taken their soul’. However for others without this belief, there was a frequent ‘request for dirhams ‘ in exchange for a photos.
