Today is the day. The 'Workshop' start date, with David Alan Harvey, during his visit to Sydney Australia as part of the "Head On" Photograhy Festival held each year in Sydney. Along with several other students, many who flew not only from other parts of Australia, but from parts of the world, we gathered together to learn and grow become inspired.
We were guided towards photographing a theme or building a 'photo essay' during our week with David. Each and every day during the workshop David viewed our work, gave critiques, invited Stephen Dupont (well known Australian Photojournalist, who has produced numerous photo eassys and documentary reportage from dangerous war zone regions including Afghanistan), and several other talented photographers to tell their story and show their images.
We all ended up in different places and mostly a different place to where we started. This is explained briefly as I take you on my day workshop journey. Enjoy.
