It's easy to see that Cuban people have pride, look after themselves well and despite the conditions and rules of the country they live in , mostly they have achieved peace and happiness within themselves. 

  A BIG SMILE would often greet you where ever you went and you made eye contact.    Usually and only AFTER  their  photo was taken I smiled and then made some connection with them. 

With the elderly, history, emotions, struggle could be seen in their faces, although most outstanding was the strength in their characters you could see just by observing them.

While I found Cuba generally  safe to travel around,  as with any unfamiliar place, there were occasions when the opposite were true. Therefore while wandering around, it was important to let  your intuition remain active, for your own alerts to speak to you when needed.

I loved the Cuban people with their welcoming smiles and gestures.
